This project was one of my favorites. we printed out a photograph that we had taken (mine obviously being glass bottles) and we scratched them into the board shown above. The process was scary at first, because if you messed up there was nothing you could really do to fix it. However once i started scratching more and more away, it became easier to see the lightness and the darkness of the bottles, and how to make the glass to just the right amount of transparent.
